چکیده
Objective: To present our ‘methylene blue-guided retroperitoneoscopy technique’ that we apply in cases where extravasation develops for various reasons and is complicated as a result Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy surgery (PNL). Material Methods: A total of 36 patients, who underwent PNL with the blue at Bakirkoy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training Research Hospital between 2014 2020, were retrospectively evaluated. The study included only which was used due to inability advance Amplatz sheath targeted calyx renal scarring or staghorn stone filling calyx, withdrawn from kidney guidewire inattention assistant surgical team contrast material extravasation. patients’ demographic, preoperative, perioperative, postoperative data recorded, stone-free complication rates noted. Results: mean age patients 45.1 (36-55) years, body mass index 27.8±4 kg/m2, size 3.4±0.7 cm, volume 22.3±10.2 cm3. operation time calculated 95.8±30.3 minutes. rate 68% on first day 75% third month. Eight (22.2%) secondary procedure (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy flexible ureterorenoscopy). Conclusion: under retroperitoneoscopic direct vision safe practical option re-accessing by locating partially completely dilated. AB01. Percutaneous renal access for nephrolithotomy
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy has revolutionized the ability of the urologist to remove large burdens of renal stones over the last 15 years. In the United States, it has largely replaced open stone surgery for the treatment of large sized stones. One of the key factors in optimizing outcomes for this procedure is accurate percutaneous renal access. The guiding principles for effective renal acc...
متن کاملTransgluteal CT-Guided Percutaneous Renal Access for Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy in a Pelvic Horseshoe Kidney
CT-guided percutaneous renal access has been described as a safe and effective access technique in patients with complex anatomy, including ectopic kidney, retrorenal colon, spinal dysraphism, hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly. In comparison to conventional intraoperative fluoroscopic-guided access, CT imaging allows for delineation of surrounding structures that are at risk for injury during perc...

Background: Percutaneous transhepatic venous access is an option for hemodialysis patients who have exhausted all traditional sites of venous access. Objectives: To present a small sample regarding the possibility and the functionality of transhepatic implantation of long-term catheters for hemodialysis in patients with no other possible access routes. Methods: Retrospective observational analy...

PURPOSE To evaluate the percutaneous access outcomes and complications following percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) that was obtained by sonographer or urologist at a single academic institution. MATERIAL AND METHODS A retrospective chart review of 259 patients who underwent PCNL was performed. Patients were stratified according to percutaneous access by sonographer (group 1) or urologist (g...

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is widely accepted and effective treatment modality for renal stone disease. When compared with other surgical interventions such as open renal surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy has lower morbidity and postoperative patient discomfort, so percutaneous nephrolithotomy mostly replaced open surgery in most of the urology clinics in Turkey and worldwide. In this rev...
